Maison D’ Auraine Mark 5 Years in India with a Green Salon Initiative

Luxury and premium beauty brand, Maison D’ Auraine recently celebrated its successful completion of five years in India, with a grand corporate social affair at ITC Maurya Hotel, New Delhi. The evening commenced with the launch announcement of Project ‘Green Salon’ by Maison D’ Auraine. The initiative with a motive of ‘Think Green, Act Green”, introduces sustainability and eco-friendly business models for all global beauty brands and salons across the country.

Guests at the event included founders of top salons chains in the country and loyal clients of Maison D’ Auraine. Samir Srivastava from JCB Salons, Sonali Bhambri from Toni & Guy India (North), Rajesh Yadav & Dinesh Sharma from Cut & Style, Sanjay & Samay Dutta from LOOKS Salons, Divya & Sachin from Geetanjali Salons, Sukriti Patnaik from Indulge Salon, Manikandan & Mario from Toni & Guy India (South), among others were at the event showing their support and appreciation towards a sustainable future and the concept of Green Salon in India.

Apart from salons, Maison D’Auraine has also been informing and educating their clients on various activities that are not eco-friendly. The organisation aims to set up a green infrastructure in every functional salon in the country, with the use of bio-degradable and environmentally friendly products. In addition, Project Green Salon focuses on waste management techniques as well.

The event was also designed to bringing attention to the use of chemical-free products and mobilization towards having a green approach in the salon industry. The Green Laboratory Zone was a note-worthy creation, while experiential activities were carefully placed at the entrance. The futuristic display reflected the ideation of conserving the environment, supporting the planet, and using green alternatives in place of non-biodegradable products. Besides this, the entire event decor and curation – from the stage decor to the food bar – were done keeping in mind the cause of sustainability. The evening also featured a ramp show showcasing the vision of renowned hairstylist and brand ambassador of Maison D’ Auraine, Marcello Pedrozo. With the theme ‘Future Of Hair’, the styles depicted futuristic hair trends created using sustainable products.

The event concluded with a few words from Maison D’ Auraine Founder and Managing Director, Arpit Jain. He said, “Our planet is suffering from an enormous amount of non-biodegradable waste, oceans are filled with an endless amount of plastic and our aquatic species and planet as a whole is dying. Being a part of the salon industry for past 5 years, at Maison D’Auraine we feel the need to take the responsibility and act as an eye-opener to awaken the industry and encourage the installation of eco-friendly infrastructure.”

Maison D’ Auraine aims to associate with renowned hair experts from across the globe to educate professionals in India on global hair trends and techniques that allow creativity and optimum satisfaction for the Indian consumer.
